I’m talking about online security. Don’t we all wish it wasn’t a thing?
It’s something I never thought I’d have to get my head around. But I have to. And it’s something I take very seriously.
That’s why I have PCI Certification with Trustwave. It means I meet the Payment Card Industry security standards.
Now, I know that’s good. Many small businesses like mine don’t even bother. Still, my thinking is you never want to rest on your laurels.
And that’s why, when you purchase any of my online products like Leadership Essentials or Lessons in Leadership Audio Series and click through to purchase, there’s a change. Not that I’d imagine you’d ordinarily notice this, at least I wouldn’t.
But what you’ll see is that I’ve upgraded to an external, secure shopping cart. Yes, my payment set up was always secure, but embedded on my site. I like that this is an independent, payment portal.
Yes, you have all the normal options to pay available to you, along with Paypal. But to me, this is another layer of security. And that extra peace of mind? It’s worth it.
